Great place to stay, we will be back!

We absolutely loved our two-night stay on this couple’s retreat boat! Everything was extremely clean, comfortable, and very well stocked—pretty much everything you would expect to find in a condo was provided. Communication was fabulous, both with the owner and with the person who helps take care of the boat. Check-in and check-out were incredibly easy and seamless. One of our favorite features was the upper deck. It was the perfect spot to sit out with our coffee in the morning and enjoy drinks in the evening. There were four of us, and the boat had plenty of space for us. Just something to be aware of when booking: the double bed is on the lower level, and one side of the bed requires you to tuck underneath the upper portion of the boat. This wasn’t ideal for my 6’2” husband, although that was really more a matter of us not fully paying attention to the photos and layout beforehand. Thankfully, he slept very comfortably on the futon-style couch upstairs, which was surprisingly firm and comfortable—not the soft, saggy futon you might expect! Dan, who owns the marina and lives above Tom Sawyer’s Bar right on the property, was also incredibly helpful and friendly. He was happy to offer assistance and share his knowledge of the area, which we really appreciated. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would definitely recommend this unique and fun experience to others!

We were skeptical at first but ended up having fun. Positive: Roomy common rooms (kitchen and bathroom). The responsivness of the staff to our Internet issue. Negative: The ramp getting to the boat was scary. The beds were hard to get and out of.

We had a wonderful stay. Even with the hot weather, the inside stayed cool and comfortable, and the upper deck fans made it a great place to relax and play cards with the kids. Mornings were especially peaceful as my husband and I enjoyed coffee by the water. The boat was very clean, everyone slept well, and the kids loved the vibe (as did we). Greg was helpful with a technical question, and April was responsive throughout check-in and check-out. We would definitely stay again!

We enjoyed being on the water! The houseboat was clean and tidy. The host was quick to respond when we had a question.
